An MFA thesis project in graphic design consists initially of identifying a communication problem within a topic of interests which also has an audience besides yourself. Throughout the course of your thesis work, you will use strategic thinking, conceptual, and design skills, to develop a creative, innovative, and visually compelling solution.

30% of American children are overweight or obese. If this trend continues, children will have a reduced lifespan compared to their parents.

THE SOLUTION »
A series of children's books, a parent handbook, and other products developed, designed, and produced over the course of my MFA Thesis work. Their purpose was to create a forum for parents to talk to their young children about healthy lifestyle habits as a way to prevent childhood obesity. A battle prevented is a battle won.
